 BREAD AND JAM HOSTS THE FAMOUS RALPH LALAMA AND JERRY WELDON SATURDAY JAN 10TH 7-10PM FREE SHOW! WE ALSO HAVE OUR BEER AND WINE PERMIT FOR THIS EVENT! The Bread and Jam (130 Remsen St., Cohoes) will host a classic tenor battle with two of the worlds most in demand soloists - Ralph Lalama and Jerry Weldon - on Saturday, January 10th from 7:00 - 10:00pm. Ralph Lalama is most recognized for his extensive work with jazz icons Joe Lovano, Buddy Rich, Mel Torme, The Village Vanguard Orchestra and as a recording artist for Criss Cross Records and The Blue Note record label (as part of  The Joe Lovano Nonet for which he received a grammy in 2000.) Best known for his extensive work with Harry Connick Jr., Jerry Weldon has established himself as one of the most in demand soloists in the jazz world, playing with the best of the best: Joey DeFrancesco, Roy Haynes, Keter Betts, Jack McDuff, Mel Torme and George Benson.
